Your friendly smile and cheerful customer service attitude sets the tone for our guests to enjoy what the day brings to them. Your role is key to the overall experience the guest will have. Your keen sense of being proactive, responsive and caring will make all the difference. 

Major Duties:

• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
• Make decisions and solve problems in the interest of 100% guest satisfaction
• Carefully monitors the operation of the F&B and assists the manager in identifying and solving present and potential guest problems
• Follows operational policies and procedures, including safety and security, to ensure the safety of all employees and guests during each shift
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace
• Engage with and understand our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Maintains clean and neat personal presentation following dress code guidelines, wearing the designated uniform with a nametag and long hair is secured with a hair tie or clip.
• Available to perform many different tasks within the hotel kitchen during each shift
• Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints.
• Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation with guests.
• Must be able to visually inspect areas, compare observations to standards and correct deficiencies.
• Obtain any locally required certifications.

 Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk and stand throughout the duration of a shift
• Continuously lifting, carrying 5-10lbs throughout the shift.
• Able to up to lift 25 pounds occasionally   
• Able to bend and kneel occasionally 

Qualifications:

• Over age 17
• Able to obtain food handlers license
• Warm friendly attitude and willingness to help people
