Overview
LPN – Long-Term Care in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This is a travel, temporary assignment beginning 03/16/2026 for 8 weeks with guaranteed hours. Weekly pay ranges from $748 to $812, and shifts are 3x12-hour days. You will work in a skilled nursing facility setting providing licensed practical nursing care to residents under the supervision of the nursing leadership.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assisted nursing duties for residents, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications per plan of care, and supporting activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Implement and document care plans, and report changes in resident condition to the supervising RN and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer prescribed therapies and treatments following facility policy and state regulations; observe and document responses and adverse effects.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as appropriate, ensuring safety and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the resident charting system, including MARs, assessments, and nursing notes.
- Uphold safety, infection prevention, and aseptic technique standards; promote resident dignity and quality of life.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or currently licensed and eligible to practice there)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Education: Licensed Practical Nurse diploma or equivalent from an approved program
- Experience: 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is preferred; see note on required qualifications
- Ability to work the 3x12-hour shift schedule and to travel to and work in the designated location
- Eligibility to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship expected
