Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, with variable scheduling. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety and quality treatment in a fast-paced environment. This unit is recognized for its commitment to excellence in patient care and offers a collaborative team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician’s orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responds quickly to changes in condition.
• Provide education to patients and families on health management and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a med-surg or telemetry environment.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to float to other medical-surgical units as needed.
