Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide pulmonary care for critical, non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under the direction of a physician. The RRT will perform patient assessments, develop respiratory care plans, and carry out various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations including Code Blue and White.
• Manage airways through suctioning and placement of airway devices.
• Administer aerosolized drugs and manage ventilators.
• Conduct patient assessments and perform accurate documentation.
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys and assist in advanced practice skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• RT or RCP License in the state of New Mexico required.
• BLS certification (AHA only) required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required.
