We’re looking for a Grounds & Custodial Program Manager who can oversee complex operations while building strong teams and maintaining exceptional service standards.

This leadership role supports critical operations at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) and oversees multiple government contracts including grounds maintenance, custodial services, commissary operations, and Navy contract services.

🚀 What You’ll Be Responsible For

Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of WSMR Grounds and Custodial programs, including Commissary and Navy contracts

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Tresco policies, federal regulations, and government contract requirements

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for all contract performance matters

  • Monitor contract performance to ensure service standards and performance requirements are consistently met

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise the Assistant Project Manager for WSMR Grounds & Custodial

  • Supervise the Assistant Project Manager for the Commissary Contract

  • Supervise the Assistant Project Manager for the Navy Contract

  • Mentor, evaluate, and support staff to promote professional development and performance growth

  • Conduct regular leadership meetings with Assistant Project Managers to align goals and operational priorities

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture

Financial Oversight & Contract Management

  • Track budgets, costs, expenditures, and schedules associated with government contracts

  • Ensure all expenditures remain within Firm Fixed Price contract parameters

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for Task Order work requests

  • Maintain accurate cost tracking and reporting systems

Safety, Compliance & Customer Service

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOD, Army, Federal, State, and local safety regulations

  • Establish and maintain high customer service standards

  • Maintain strong professional relationships with government counterparts and stakeholders

  • Use strong diplomacy and communication skills when managing customer and employee relations

🎓 What You Bring

Education

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field

Experience

✔ Minimum 5 years managing custodial and/or grounds operations
✔ Experience with government contract budgeting, cost tracking, and scheduling
✔ Minimum 5 years in a position of responsibility
✔ At least 3 years in progressive supervisory leadership roles

Licenses

✔ Valid Driver’s License (Driving Required)

  • Driving Record (MVR)

  • Office of Personnel Management / Federal Investigative Services Clearance

  • General Background Check
